Jane has gotten so drunk at the rural bar they have taken away her keys. She tries to walk home using the shortcut through the forest, with disastrous results.

o become a member of the touchtone club, Raina must go through an initiation to see how she is able to handle unexpected challenges. She must stay out in the forest all night, by herself, nearly naked. She starts t walk around, faster and faster, to try to keep the mosquitos at bay. They did not tell her about the mud pit and she blunders into it. She is panicky at first but that changes to frustration when she stops sinking but is still stuck. She figure out how to move and gets out, but then the skeeters are back. She gets back in and has a good time.
