 To become a member of the Touchtone Club Blaire must complete an initiation that tests her ability to handle unexpected challenges. She agrees and is told she must stay out in the forest by herself, all night, nearly naked. As soon as the membership director leaves, the mosquitoes arrive. She tries to walk around, faster and faster, to generate a breeze to fend of the nasty critters. Soon she blunders right into a quicksand bog. She is panic stricken at first, but that changes to frustration when she touches bottom but is till stuck. Then she figures out how to move and crawls out. Then the bugs are back. She gets back in and enjoys herself all night.

The Gypsy and the Underside 1935

Karma plays a visitor to Psychic World JungleLand. Finding the Reading Room, she starts reading a story about a strange gypsy woman casting some sort of spell while in a mud pit. Suddenly she is the gypsy woman.

Most people stay inside during a thunderstorm. But Bella links to play in deep mud and she knows that everyone else will be inside. That gives her privacy. The rest is obvious.
